Our trip to Seagrove Beach

The kids and I went to the beach this past weekend and Bryan's mom met us there. She has a house in Seagrove Beach, which is only 4 hours away, but surprisingly, we have not been in almost 2 years! Leah was a little baby the last time we went. :( We had a great time and the kids loved it! Leah absolutely LOVED the ocean! Parker liked it the first day, but after getting splashed, he did not love it as much. Leah warmed up to the lake, and by our last day, was wanting me to "swim in the river" with her, which meant she wanted me to hold her arms and drag her across the water while she kicked her legs. The water was up to my waist, so I was relieved that she was not scared. She did great! We had such a great time, and the kids got to play with their cousin Callie, who is just a few months older than Leah. The girls had a great time playing together. Leah also met 2 new friends, Mya and Cici, who are a little older than her, but they all played together so well and had a good time. Bryan was not able to go with us this time, but we are going back in 2 weeks, so he'll be able to go then. Some of our friends, Travis, Amber, and Gavin are going to meet us there. They live in Wisconsin, so the beach is a long way away from home for them!
