Parker decided last week that he was going to start climbing out of his crib at nap time and in the mornings. Fortunately, he never hurt himself, but we were terrified that he would get his leg or arm caught and land on his head, so we made the decision to put him in a big boy bed. When we were taking his crib apart, we realized that we could just remove the front of his crib (it is not a convertible crib, unfortunately) and make it into a mini daybed. He has been sleeping on it for 2 days now, and has fallen out a few times, but will either fall asleep on the floor (and we move him back in his bed) or he climbs back in. He is adjusting pretty well, considering he is only 22 months old!
