Meet the Teacher Day at School

Today Leah and Parker went to their preschool to meet their new teachers. Parker will be in with Miss Courtney and Miss Jill. Leah had Miss Courtney (and her mom Mrs. Karen) last year, so they already knew Parker and he walked in like he owned the place. He was perfectly content in there with them by himself while I left for a few minutes to take Leah to her new classroom, which is directly across the hall from Parker's class. Leah was a little bit timid at first and just stood in one spot checking things out but slowly ventured away and started playing with all of the toys. She was doing great...until I walked out into the hall to check on Parker. She realized I was gone, and burst into tears! Miss Dannell was so sweet and consoled her and told her I was coming right back, so please cross your fingers that everything goes smoothly next week. Their first day is Tuesday and I am hoping they both do well. I know they are both starting to get a little bit bored at home and will love a new change of pace at school with new friends.
